When and where will the Refer Her Power Brunch take place?

The Refer Her Power Brunch will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM EST in Howard County, MD. The exact location will be provided to participants after their registration is complete. VIP Guests will have access to the VIP Mixer from 10 AM to 11:30 AM EST.

Is my ticket refundable?

All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. However, tickets are transferable. If you’re unable to attend and would like to transfer your ticket but don’t have someone in mind, feel free to contact us at info@referhermovement.com—we may have a waitlist of individuals hoping to join!

What’s included with my ticket?

Each ticket includes access to the brunch experience, networking opportunities, and exclusive access to shop the Michele Lopez Spring Collection. VIP guests receive early entry, premium seating, access to the VIP Mixer, and a few fabulous surprises!

Can I bring a guest?

Yes! Each guest will need their own ticket. If you purchased a group of 10, your guests will be seated together.

Is there assigned seating?

VIP guests will receive preferred seating. General admission is open seating unless otherwise noted. Group table purchases (for up to 10 guests) will be reserved together.

Will food be served?

Yes! A delicious buffet-style brunch will be served, featuring a thoughtfully curated menu designed to delight. We want every guest to feel seen and cared for—so after you register, you'll receive an event questionnaire where you can share any food allergies or dietary restrictions. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure you enjoy every moment of your meal!

Will there be opportunities to shop?

Yes! The Chelz Closet Popup Shop will be open after the event, with early access available to VIP guests before the event begins.

Is there a hotel block or recommended accommodations?

While we are not publicly releasing the host hotel, we recommend staying in the Howard County, MD area. A list that includes our host hotel and other nearby hotels will be provided to registered guests.

Will there be photography or videography at the event?

Michele Lopez began her journey as a celebrity fashion stylist, curating iconic looks for Hollywood’s elite and gracing the pages of Vanity Fair, Vogue, and other major publications. With her styling expertise showcased in shows like Iyanla: Fix My Life and Life Class with Oprah, Michele’s influence extended far beyond the red carpet. Her clothing line, worn by numerous celebrities, became a beacon of confidence, individuality, and beauty for women everywhere. But as celebrated as her professional success was, Michele’s personal journey was marked by deep challenges—ones that have shaped her life’s mission to empower other women.

Michele’s journey did not begin with fame and accolades. Pregnant at 17, a single mother of three by 26, and divorced before she turned 30, she knows all too well what it feels like to struggle with self-worth and uncertainty. From navigating life on government assistance to rebuilding after going bankrupt, Michele faced the crushing weight of societal expectations and body shaming, all while battling depression and thoughts of suicide. But it was in these moments of profound pain that she found her pretty—not the beauty the world had defined for her, but the inner strength that would transform her pain into her power.

Now, Michele stands as a master coach and mentor to mentors, guiding women globally to break through the limits placed on them by society and by themselves.
